"There is the smaller world which is the stage and there is the larger stage which is the world." Isaac Goldman.

Jan & Steve used to live in the world of the smaller stage. For 12 years professional music was their life, seeking fame, fortune and the applause of man. For the past 8 years the Lord has called them to the larger stage, the world! To reach out to those in need of healing, truth, hope, peace, a touch from God.

Prayer Letter - Spring 2010

Please would you pray for:

HAITI - We all know the situation after the devastating earthquake.  We've seen the pictures and the need is for us all to keep up with the news and to continue to pray for food, water, medical care, supplies and for Christians who will show the love of Jesus to them.

Rev. Clive Doubleday our dear friend from 'Smile Int' who has now finished his Chemotheropy for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.  We have heard the cancer cells are gone from his system and he now needs to fully recover energy and strength to continue the incredible work he, Ruth and the team do around the globe.  Thank you.

Norway - Tromso Baptist Church as they seek to reach out to their community.  For growth both numerically and Spiritually and for the Lord to bring in new believer's and many that are seeking.  For the few members to build meaningful relationships with many not-yet-believers!

Us - for health, wisdom and continued guidance as we seek to do the Lord's will.

Finances - We still need improved finances to take care of the bills while we are away working with the poor and needy at home and abroad, please would you pray for that too.

Thank you for standing with us as together we aim to touch many for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.  Eph 3:16 (NLT)

Every blessing - love Steve & Jan  x x

Ministry destinations for 2010

January was a busy time working in churches around the U.K.

26th January - 2nd March We are now working in Tromso, Norway which is 380 miles north of the Arctic circle.  There is now a good 4 or 5 hours of daylight and even though the sun never rises very high it is a good experience.  Our time here is being spent sharing the love and light of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.  This is  the most northerly Baptist church in the world and we are leading meetings, teaching on 'Worship' and 'Friendship Evangelism' over 5 weeks and helping them think about new ways to reach the 70,000 people living in the town, 99% of whom aren't even connected with a church.

March 30th - 16th  Leading a team for Smile Int. in Kosova as well as taking up personal ministry opportunities there and in Macedonia once again.  Our heart is to encourage the churches and reach out to those who are not-yet-believers!

July 19th - 10th August  Continuing to work with the churches around Kampala, Uganda and again to lead outreach services in remote areas where the gospel is needed among the poor.  This year we saw commitments to Christ and believe for a large harvest in 2010.  We will visit the slums of Kampala and wherever we go we will be praying for many people to come to faith in Jesus Christ and for healing in His name.

The past year has been so busy that we never had enough quality time to spend working on our new “Lifestyle Course” but we intend to keep at this till it is completed and is available for the churches to use from a DVD or for us to go and teach personally.  Our new worship C.D. and Songbook should be out early part of this year so watch this space.  We have already had opportunities to play some of these songs on Radio staions in America and a T.V. show in South Carolina.  Jesus said, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit"....  He also promised... "to be with us always to the end of the age".  (Matthew 28:18-20)  We are called to go and the promise of Jesus is that He WILL go with us, ALWAYS!  Be blessed Steve & Jan

Jan & Steve in the Arctic 2010

We are here in the Arctic and enjoying great fellowship with the people of Tromso B. C..  Tromso is situated 380 miles north of the Arctic Circle and is in the most northerly tip of Norway.  The 5 week 'Friendship Evangelism' course is going very well.  We are teaching them how to reach out to the unchurched and develop genuine friendships with them.  Pastor David and his wife linn are a wonderful young couple who have a difficult task.  Though the church is small in number they have a big heart and are believing for real growth in the days ahead as together we take this step of faith.  If you are moving into the area why not come and visit them?  The Lord may be calling you to join in the adventure too!

If you would like to help us with funding for any of our ministry trips, please either give here online or contact us for further information.  Thank you
